Ocean Pacifico offers a new 40-metre yacht – ready soon

Yacht buyers have a great potential opportunity to buy a 40-metre displacement yacht that’s nearing completion at Ocean Pacifico. The steel-hulled, aluminium superstructure yacht was designed by Dutch firm Diana Yacht Design. The owner’s state-room, galley and sun lounge are full beam, while still featuring the classic elegance of Diana Design,s famous Lady Duvera full keel range. The vessel is fitted with Caterpillar C18s, and its generators, water makers, sewerage, hydraulics, stabilizers, davits, pumps and valves are all of European or American manufacture.
The yard was founded in 1994 by Peter Cannon, an Australian yacht builder with over 50 years of experience in boat building. Ocean Pacifico was set up at an ex-US Navy ship repair facility, and employs 70 builders that were largely trained by the US Navy, as well as a mix of European and Australian expatriates in key technical areas.
Ocean Pacifico is located at Subic Bay in the Philippines and is operated by offshore corporations. The yard has launched two superyachts already, two 124-foot Diana’s initially called Inca Rose and Ligaya, with both making their debuts at the Monaco Yacht Show in 2010. One is currently on a round-the-world journey according to the builder. Ocean Pacifico is fully equipped in-house to carry out all operations for the building of luxury motor-yachts. Standard of workmanship is accredited by Lloyds Register of Shipping. The yard is recognized as Lloyds Yard 41.
