The AYGP is a pointscore system based on the overall results at 12 selected regattas each season. The AYGP does not organize any of the selected regattas.

Rights to title [Trophy Sponsor] AYGP Skipper and Yacht of the Year for PR and advertising use
-Brand name mention and logo on all literature, pre and post events, website, official press releases, race reports and advertisements
-Short company/product profile & logo on AYGP website sponsors page
-Inclusion in any marketing/sales materials. New take home trophy to be struck in sponsors honour
–Invitation to present trophy at final prize giving ceremony
– Promotional literature in skippers’ kit bags at the 12 AYGP events

The combined Title and Trophy Sponsor of the AsianYachting Grand Prix Championship (AYGP) is US$10,000 or the Trophy Sponsor for the AYGP Skipper and Yacht of the Year awards can be taken separately for US$5000. All the sponsor entitlements and rights apply to both, except if only taking the Trophy Sponsor role the overall title will remain the AYGP and the trophy will be called the {Trophy Sponsor} AYGP Skipper and Yacht of the Year.
