Azimut's Fujian Province dealer sells three boats at Xiamen show

Building on its success in helping to establish the Azimut brand in China, local Azimut dealer Xiamen Leading Boating has confirmed that it sold three Azimuts at the recent China (Xiamen) International Boat Show which drew to a close in early November. Azimut’s Grande 120SL was also awarded ‘Biggest Motor Yacht Model Sold in China (International Brand)’ by China yachting magazine during the show held at Xiamen marina. The three sales, that included Azimut's new 58 footer which as sold on the last day, was up on the two boats sold in 2010 at the event.
Xiamen Leading Boating is the official dealer of Azimut Yachts in Fujian Province, and has already sold 10 boats since 2009 from 47ft to 105ft.
The fourth edition of the Xiamen Show attracted 157 exhibitors (up 17 per cent compared with that of last year) among which 27 were from outside mainland China, an increase of 23 per cent on 2010. More than 200 yachts, including 88 boats onshore and over 130 boats on-water, were on show at Wuyuan Bay.
According to the organizing committee, 32 boats were sold )up 40 per cent on last year) representing a value of RMB 180 million Yuan (€21.4m). Sales included six boats over 60ft, four from 50-59ft, three 40-49ft boats and 19 boats under 40ft.
China (Xiamen) International Boat Show 2012 will be held from Nov 2-5 at Xiamen Marina.
