IAG Yachts launches new 100

The IAG Yachts shipyard, based in Zhuhai (China), has launched its second yacht to date, the IAG100 – the first of the Electra series. She is currently undergoing sea trials and will be delivered to her client in China shortly. IAG Yachts expects that the new 100 Electra will be presented in Asian yacht shows.
The Electra features Italian styling. She has a length overall of 30 metres and a maximum beam of 6.5 metres. The Electra 100 is powered by twin MTU M93 engines and can achieve a projected maximum speed of 27 knots. At ten knots, she has a maximum range of 2000 nautical miles. IAG Yachts said in a statement that the Electra 100 features a draught of just 1.2 metres, and has a hull form that is suitable for ocean travelling.
