New Marina in Krabi, Thailand
Published: Friday, 16 December 2011
Boat Lagoon, the popular marina and resort on the east coast of Phuket, Thailand, has opened a sister marina on the opposite of Phang Nga Bay, Krabi Boat Lagoon. The marina has over 80 berths for yachts up to 75 feet, and over 100 hard stand slots. There are six berths available under cover of the main docking area. The marina opened on December 1st, and is having their soft opening launch this weekend.
Managed by Boat Lagoon, the new marina should be up and running in short order and benefit from the operational experience garnered by Boat Lagoon over the past 18 years. The new marina is just 15 minutes drive from the Krabi International Airport, and can offer boaters a place of refuge while cruising Phang Nga Bay. It is located just upriver from the coast and should be well-sheltered by the mangrove coastline. The marina is part of a larger property development that is being put into place by the owner.
The Krabi coastline, opposite Phuket Island on Phang Nga Bay, boasts tremendous cruising coastline in short distance of the marina.
