Sea Ray’s new 210 SLX model features sleek styling and a roomy bow area with plush cushions that are hinged to allow for noticeable convenience when accessing or stowing gear. The floor here and in the cockpit is finished fiberglass for enhanced structural integrity and longevity, and snap-in carpeting comes standard. There is a lockable wakeboard locker with vinyl matting and a gas-assisted lid, as well as the optional forward-facing, folding tower with integrated bimini top and anchor light.

Buyers can choose from two distinct cockpit configurations. Standard is a motorbox flanked by jump seats and backed by a sun pad. A popular option is a large sun pad lounger with starboard side walk-thru. Owners also get a choice of interior color schemes — chocolate/taupe (standard) or taupe/white (optional) — which incorporate elegant two-tone vinyl and colour-matched accents throughout. Either interior layout is ideal for basking in the warm sun or chilling out at water’s edge using the integrated/extended swim platform with stainless-steel swim ladder and optional SeaDek® padding.

The new 210 SLX comes with a standard 220-hp MerCruiser 4.3L MPI engine and Alpha® I sterndrive, or owners can upgrade to 300 horse and a Bravo® III drive. Custom, backlit SmartCraftinstruments with glass lenses continuously monitor the ride and provide diagnostic information to the driver. There is a Sony® stereo with CD player, four Rockford Fosgate® weatherproof speakers and iPod® connector, all controlled by a digital display cockpit remote.

Sea Ray has added a number of exterior enhancements across its Sport Boats lineup for 2012. Along with the optional black watersports tower, the 210 SLX has a custom three-piece, curved glass windshield with black anodized frame for better visibility and good looks. Customizing options also include two-tone gel coat, special graphics and full-colored hull bottoms in a variety of colors. A trailer with surge disk brakes and a swing-away tongue is standard, but owners can opt for a Boatmate® Platinum Premium Trailer with two-tone paint scheme matching the boat’s hull color, radial tires, Sea Ray LED backlit logo and more.
