The 77 metres Smeralda, largest superyacht every built in Australia, has been launched by Hanseatic Marine. With her distinctive hull lines and super-sleek profile, Smeralda is third in the multiple award-winning Silver Series designed by Espen Øino.
Italian-styled interior features American walnut panelling, high gloss lacquers, and innumerable custom finishes. Nine spacious guest cabins and one owner’s apartment are provided. A large air-conditioned alfresco dining area with removable glass panels is situated on the main deck aft and complements the numerous outdoor leisure spaces. Among Smeralda’s unique features are the helicopter touchdown pad, glass-fronted deck jacuzzi, outdoor cinema, outdoor nightclub sound system and day spa area.
Equipped with powerful twin MTU main engines, it’s expected to reach a maximum speed of 29 knots and a cruising speed of 18 knots, with a predicted range of 4,500 nautical miles. Built for Hanseatic’s owner, German entrepreneur Guido Krass, it has been put on the market with UK-based superyacht agent Burgess and her delivery is scheduled in early summer.
