Ferretti Custom Line, a brand of the Ferretti Group manufacturing vessels in fibreglass between 26 and 38 metres in length, has launched the new Custom Line 112’ Next, a 34 metre vessel in the planing category and the twenty-eighth model of the 112 inch models. The private launching ceremony was held at the shipyard of the Group in Ancona.
Present at the launching were the ship owners of this new model: the Chinese real estate company Xanadu South China Sea. The 112’ Next will be used as one of the attractions at the avail of the guests of the luxurious real estate and tourist complex of Xanadu South China Sea, which is being built on the island of Hainan, and it will also be one of the biggest maxi yachts, manufactured in a European shipyard, to sail in Chinese waters. The boat will have a leading role in guaranteeing added value to a structure that will be one of the most important resorts of the South of China, consisting of a 5 star hotel, many beautiful villas, a spa, a conference centre, a helicopter landing pad and a private yacht marina.
Featuring spacious areas both below deck and in the open, a master suite on the main deck and four spacious guest cabins with large open view windows overlooking the sea, 112’ Next is also fitted with last generation entertainment systems, as well as an innovative monitoring and control system. Powered by twin 2775mhp MTU engines, it can reach a top speed of 26 knots and on board comfort is guaranteed by 4 Mitsubishi ARG (Anti Rolling Gyro) stabilizers, which reduce yacht rolling by up to 50%.
