Running of f the success of last year’s Oceans’11, the second annual ocean awareness fundraiser event Oceans’ 12 will be launched by Party With A Purpose at Volar, Friday June 8th.
The event supports non-profit charities Ocean Recovery Alliance and Sea Shepherd Hong Kong and helps to shed light on pressing issues such as the plastic vortex, unsustainable overfishing, and cetacean slaughter. It will feature DJ Antwone and Sawatzky’s tech house music, accompanied by live musical performances, as well as ocean visuals. Doors will open at 9:30PM with the main performances and visuals starting at 10:30PM. Tickets cost $250 online or $300 in cash at the door and 100% of ticket sales goes straight to the charities. Online tickets will be available starting May 8th at www.partywithapurpose.com.hk or at Oceans ’12 Facebook page.
Founded by the event director Kris Sawatzky in April 2011, Party With A Purpose is a non-profit society created to organize charitable fundraisers by hosting house music nightlife events.
