Fraser Yachts has announced an addition to its impressive fleet of yachts for sale - the 88m Illusion - by far the largest yacht ever to be built in China. She will have a wide beam of 15.6 metres, six decks and weigh 3,500 tons gross. Scheduled for delivery in mid‐2015 she will be represented for sale by Jan Jaap Minnema, from Fraser Yachts of Monaco.

Illusion is currently under construction at the Raffles shipyard in Shandong, China, where the stunning 90-metre Nero and the 88-metre Asean Lady were also built. Naval architecture was drawn up by Azure Naval responsible for the design of some of the largest yachts in the world including Seven Seas, Alfa Nero, Cakewalk and Anastasia, to name but a few. The exterior styling was designed by RSD.

The modern, elegant and Asian‐inspired interior has been conceived by the renowned Sander Sinot, who also created the sumptuous interiors of the 78-metre Feadships Musashi and Founrainhead. Powered by Rolls Royce diesel electric propulsion engines, Illusion will have an impressive cruising speed of 14 knots and a maximum speed of 17 knots.

For interested parties, a model of Illusion will be on display at the Fraser Yachts stand (E17) at the upcoming Hainan Rendezvous taking place from March 30 to April 2 in Sanya. The Director of Raffles shipyard, Itay Simhon,y and Jan Jaap Minnema will also be there to answer any questions about the yacht.
