Northrop and Johnson appoints new Indonesian charter broker

Northrop and Johnson have appointed Eddie Widnall as its new yacht charter broker for Indonesia. Widnall comes fresh from three years as cruise director and dive guide on board Indonesian-based expedition yachts, primarily in Komodo National Park.
Before Indonesia, Widnall worked as a dive instructor in the Maldives for two years after swapping life in London as a co-owner of a successful recruitment and head hunting firm for life on the ocean. After 10 years in the British Royal Navy, in his younger days, this seemed a natural move.
Northrop and Johnson’ Asia Director Simon Turner commented: "We are delighted to welcome Eddie to our team. We believe that there will be great expansion in the quality superyacht charter business in Indonesia and we aim to be at the forefront with our Bali-based office."
Widnall brings to the job his passion for exploration and deep knowledge of the amazing Indonesian archipelago. He has good personal relationships with most of the owners and operators of the top boats in Indonesia and is thus well placed to take care of every aspect of clients' dream Indonesian charters.
He has selected his top six charter boats based on this knowledge and compiled the company’s Indonesia portfolio to reflect this. Only the best make the cut.
