Codecasa Shipyards has announced the new Codecasa 50, a project developed entirely by the in-house Style Department, headed by Domenico Gozzani.

With the exception of a softening in the lines of the forward part of the main deck, the hull of the new boat is reminiscent of Codecasa 50 Vintage Series. The first unit using the new Hull C121 is already under construction with delivery scheduled for the spring of 2015.

Shipyard Announces Its New Codecasa 50 Design

In the new Codecasa 50 the straight bow is combined with a more sinuous and feminine superstructure than the one on the Vintage Series and the bulwark is reduced on the main deck and bridge deck allowing for the inclusion of larger windows. The lighter impression compared with the Codecasa 50 Vintage Series is also present on the sun deck, where a glass-walled gymnasium replaces the solid base of the mast.

The Shipyard Style Department managed to express its creativity using the same hull to design two yachts of the same length. It was able to convert the Codecasa 50 Vintage Series' more vigorous, almost austere, appearence to the much more modern lines of the new Codecasa 50. The new design is a fusion of elegant simplicity, high functionality and high technology.
