Jeanneau Introduces The New 72 Prestige 720 10

Following a decade successfully developing and building its Prestige brand to fill a unique niche in the very exclusive motor yacht market, Jeanneau has now announced the arrival of its newest model, the Prestige 720. The vessel is expected to be launched at the end of this year

The arrival of this new 72-foot motor yacht marks a new chapter in the Prestige story. That being said, the 720 contains much of the DNA of the rest of the Prestige line; passionate innovation, enduring commitment to quality, layout originality and timeless design.

The engineering team conducted extensive research and performed intensive tank testing to produce a strong, dependable and efficient yacht. Twin MAN engines of 800, 1000 or 1200 horsepower can deliver optimum performance. Her special hull design by J&J Design guarantees exceptional sea worthiness.

Jeanneau produces yachts with a distinctive yet enduring style, and the lines of the 720 are no exception. One key element of the larger Prestige models, long horizontal windows in the sides of the hull, are also present here.

This new Prestige was conceptualised for maximum enjoyment of life at sea. She has exceptional exterior living spaces, from the extra-large swim platform to the spacious cockpit and generously sized flybridge. The layout was designed to not only allow ease of movement around the boat but also safety and privacy when on board.

The Prestige brand's success can be partly attributed to bright, open living spaces and exceptionally comfortable designs and furnishings. This latest Prestige takes this concept further with an open design that features the cockpit, the galley and the saloon living areas all on a single level. Large glass panels offer clear, unimpeded views as well as creating a very bright interior.

The Garroni Design team has created a unique and surprising interior design for the 720, while still keeping with the spirit of her predecessors. The wide body concept allows for exceptional volume in the forward owner’s cabin; a private suite full of light from windows in the hull and on the roof.

For the interior, owners may chose from several different ambiances to suite their own personal style.

The overall length is 21.99 metres with a waterline length of 18.4 metres and she comes with a maximum beam of 5.6 metres. The draft is 1.55 metres and the height above the waterline is 5.8 metres. Her full load weight comes in at 48 tons. She has a half load cruising speed of 24 knots and can manage a 28-knot maximum speed.
