The G180F is designed to combine high efficiency with sports-yacht performance and comply with class requirements for yachts under 500GT.
“We transformed Ghost Yachts’ objectives into a low-weight, efficient hull with an optimal propulsion layout and have achieved performance only normally found in superyachts with much larger engines installations,” explained Francis Gumbs of De Voogt Naval Architects.
The uncluttered and dynamic appearance of the tri-deck G180F is characterized by sharp lines and angled surfaces carefully sculpted by Stefano Carugno of design partner Gloss design. The uncluttered theme continues in the refined and well-appointed interior, which is minimalist yet sophisticated and was created by Alberto Vismara of Undicimetriquadri.
This all-aluminium vessel has an overall length of 55 metres and a beam of 9.3 metres. Her draft comes in at a little over 2 metres. She is powered by twin MTU12V4000M93 engines producing 6,920 horsepower and offering a top speed of 29 knots. At a cruise speed of 11 knots she has an oceanic range of 4,000 nautical miles.
The owner has a spacious and well-appointed stateroom with bathroom and dressing rooms. There is accommodation for eight guests in four staterooms, each with an en-suite. A captain’s cabin and four crew cabins for the eight crew, that man this yacht, comprise the crew accommodations.
