Hong Kong Gold Coast Show opens tomorrow

The Hong Kong Gold Coast Boat Show starts tomorrow, with an array of yachts and superyachts that will offer buyers a range of options. Among the superyachts at the show are the Azimut 100 Leonardo, shown by Simpson Marine. Sunseeker Asia will have five yachts on display, including the Predator 92 and the new Sunseeker Yacht 80, recently sold to a Chinese client. Ferretti Group, now reorganised with a new office in Hong Kong, will have two superyachts on display: the all-new Pershing 82, with sleek styling and a top speed of nearly 50 knots, and the Custom Line Navetta 33, which features huge interiors.
Other yachts that will be sure to get attention are the Delta 54 Carbon Cruiser, a unique Swedish yacht that attracts plenty of looks. Simpson Marine will also be showning the new MC5 by Monte Carlo, the first time this unique and appealing motor yacht has been shown in Asia. Fairline Yachts of the UK will have two yachts on hand, a Targa 38 at the entry level and the flagship of the range, the Squadron 78 Custom.
The star of the show and definitely the largest boat on parade is the Aycer 110. This beautiful yacht is the product of Italian design and UAE engineering.
Sailors will likewise have much to explore this weekend. Jeanneau will have four sailboats on display, including the Sun Odyssey 409, an excellent yacht for weekend cruising or long range living. Bavaria will also be onhand with two sailboats courtesy Jade Marine, while Jebsen Marine will have the Hanse 495.
Show runs from 12 noon to 6pm on Friday, May 10, then from 10am to 6pm on May 11 and 12. Copies of the latest edition of Asia-Pacific Boating can be found at our booth at B18, right next to the entrance to the marina docks.
