In late May at Livorno, Benetti launched the 47.6-metre motor yacht Lady Candy, at a private ceremony organized to celebrate the delivery to her owner with his family in attendance.
Among the guests, Paolo Vitelli, Azimut Benetti’s Group founder and chairman, Vincenzo Poerio, CEO of the Megayacht Division, Paul Brackley from Central Yachts together with the rest of Benetti's management and staff including technical personnel and the workers involved in the construction.
Based on a particularly successful Benetti's naval platform, Lady Candy has been built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure. Her waterline length is 47.6 metres at full load and her beam 10.6 metres. She can carry 18,000 litres of fresh water and 130,000 litres of fuel. Her maximum speed at half-load is 15.5 knots with a cruise speed of about 15 knots in the same conditions. Her range is 5,000 nautical miles at 12 knots, thus capable of crossing the Pacific Ocean.
