Sanlorenzo celebrated the debut of the new 46-meter superyacht, Starling, the fifth hull in the 46 steel family, in the presence of her owner, his friends and the proud workers and technicians who contributed to the building of this steel giant.

Sanlorenzo Launches 46m Starling

Built at Sanlorenzo’s Massa Carrara shipyards, Starling is a five-deck superyacht with an aluminum superstructure and a steel displacement hull and a guaranteed maximum range of 3,500 nautical miles. The hull has two decks inside: one hosts the guests’ cabins and crew’s areas, and the lower one houses a service area with a laundry room, cold storage area and direct access to the engine rooms, allowing the crew to manage the yacht without hampering onboard life.

Starling is characterized by a blue hull and an elegant superstructure design featuring large windows along her main-deck that help illuminate the interior.

Starling’s interiors were designed in total concert with her owner who chose elegant natural mahogany wood for the furniture and floorings and selected a refined inlay to further embellish the parquet floors. Covered with delicate beige Alcantara fabrics, the ceilings are lit by golden spotlights that perfectly match the Lalique decorated glasses and the ornamental mirrors used to open up the space. The bathrooms are enriched with precious stones such as honey onyx marbles.

The spacious stern houses a beach club, an exclusive fitness area with gym, spa and a dedicated bathroom. The beach club faces a huge bathing platform at the water level, with no steps. Interior and exterior staircases connect the beach club with the cockpit and the salon.

There are stern terraces located on each deck, from the sundeck to the beach club, all with an unbroken view of the sea.
