Polish luxury catamaran-builder Sunreef Yachts has received about US$10.2 million in orders for two catamarans intended for clients from the United Arab Emirates and Russia.
The Sunreef 82 Double Deck sailing catamaran will be delivered to a client from Abu Dhabi, and the company’s Russian client purchased a Sunreef 60 LOFT. Both craft are scheduled for delivery in very late 2013 or early 2014, according to reports in the local media.
The Sunreef 60 LOFT provides accommodation for six passengers in three cabins, each with an en-suite. There is a crew cabin for two in the aft of the port hull accessible through the galley. She is fitted with carbon mast, canoe boom, a square-top hydranel main sail and furling genoa. She is powered, when not under sail, by two 110-horsepower engines.
By comparison the Sunreef 82 Double Deck can accommodate 10 passengers and a crew of three. The owner’s cabin is forward on the main deck and she sports a large bright saloon with an internal helm station. She is designed more for private use.
Established in 2002 and headquartered in Gdańsk, Poland, Sunreef has a staff of more than 400. The company is currently developing a new production facility that will provide it with an output capacity of as many as 20 units per year.
Sunreef says its product portfolio includes craft ranging from 60 to 200 feet.
