In a drive to extend its service to the yachting industry, the Monaco Yacht Show will hold the first edition of the new Monaco Yacht Summit one day prior to the opening of its world renowned exhibition.
To be held at the Grimaldi Forum in the heart of Monaco, this summit will offer an annual forum for the yachting world, to address issues of importance to yacht owners and buyers and to create a venue where the biggest players in the industry can meet, talk and network.
It will bring together a panel of experts, company heads and leading figures from the yachting world, but also business leaders and panel members from other spheres of knowledge to enrich the debate and broaden the perspectives for the future.
Taking the form of three round table discussions themed around important customer issues, the Monaco Yacht Summit will address new situations arising in yachting, new expectations and new opportunities. Each subject will be introduced by a talk from an expert, followed by a panel discussion, with some well-known figure acting as facilitator.
"Over the past 23 editions, the Monaco Yacht Show has offered yacht owners, buyers and enthusiasts the very best that the world's leading boat builders, brokers and yachting professionals have to offer, in the unique setting of the Principality of Monaco with a professional but festive atmosphere," said Gaelle Talarida, Monaco Yacht Show’s managing director.
In partnership with the Monaco Government Tourist Office and Convention Authority, this is the first summit ever organised by the Monaco Yacht Show and will undoubtedly boost the luxury yachting sector's view of Monaco as the world's yachting capital.
