Italian designer Horacio Bozzo has unveiled Discovery 88. This 26.7-metre motoryacht is his latest project, and the third in cooperation with Kingship shipyard.
She is a steel and aluminium displacement motoryacht powered by two Caterpillar C12 engines, each capable of delivering 290 kW @ 1800 rpm. She can achieve a top speed of 11.5 knots with a range of 3,500 nautical miles. She is classified RINA - CE, Category A - Unrestricted service.
With an 8-metre beam and capable of accommodating up to 10 guests, Bozzo claims that Discovery 88 is more spacious than any other vessel of her size. The lower deck includes a full-beam master cabin of 24 square meters, a full beam 18-square-metre VIP cabin, and two spacious double cabins with Pullman beds.
The design also includes a 50-square-meter flybridge with a table seating 10 guests, an open bar and a spacious lounge area. The crew quarters are located forward on the lower deck with dedicated access through the wheelhouse.
Axis Group Yacht Design is developing the naval architecture and engineering of Discovery 88.
