Maid Marian 2 for charters in Thailand

Asia Marine has acquired the central agency for charters aboard Maid Marian 2, a classic yacht built in New York in 1931. She spent over 40 years cruising the Hudson River, giving owners and guests a luxurious experience, before arriving in Florida in the 1990s. Finally, she was shipped to Phuket to be operated as a charter yacht. The current owner, film director Roland Emmerich, famed for mega-disaster movies such as Independence Day, purchased Maid Marian 2 in 2007 and restored her to her original Art Deco styling. Since her move to Phuket, she has been chartered on numerous occasions. Asia Marine conducted a technical refit in 2013 in order to re-launch Maid Marian 2 back on to the Phuket charter market. The yacht has a saloon and entertainment room on the upper deck, as well as a library, dining room and large aft deck with access to the roof top sun deck. There is also one guest bathroom and service galley. Outside showers are installed on both sides of the boat. There is accommodation in three large ensuite, double bed cabins and two twin cabins, giving room for up to ten guests. Maid Marian 2 can host a crew of seven, located in forward berths. She has a length overall of 33.2 metres and a beam of 6.1 metres, providing comfortable lounging in classic styling for up to a week with ease. If you value the look and feel of the classics, then this could be the right charter in Thailand this coming season. Maid Marian 2 is chartering for €30,000 per week, plus expenses.
