The organisers of the Boat China and Water Sports Expo, also called the China (Guangzhou) International Boat Show, recently announced that next year’s event will take place from 1 to 3 March at the China Import and Export Fair Pazhou Complex in Guangzhou. The event is organised by Guangzhou Grandeur Exhibition Services Company.

The event was first run in 2010 and has since become southern China’s most prestigious consumer event and the one where the highest product sales have been reported. It has both indoor and outdoor exhibition areas as well as on-water berths.

This year (2013) saw some 200 exhibitors showcasing their products and a record attendance with some 13,000 visitors. The exhibition area covered 21,000 square metres. The 2014 event promises to be even bigger.

Approved by the People’s Republic of China’s Ministry of Commerce, it is sponsored by the Trade Development Bureau of the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Guangdong Committee (CCPIT Guangdong), and the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Guangdong Committee (CCPIT Guangdong).

Support is also received from the China International Council for the Promotion of Multinational Corporations, the International Maritime Organization, the Maritime Safety Administration, the General Administration of Sport of China, and the National Tourism Administration.

The exhibitor profile will include sailing boats, motor boats, superyachts, boat and yacht accessories, repair and maintenance equipment, trailers and hoists, jet skis and other yacht toys, water skiing equipment, water sports clothing, wind surfing equipment, deck fitting, ship management experts, and much more.
