The three-month stay that Damrak II made touring the Middle East while on her way to Phuket, where she will host luxury charters around Thailand and Malaysia for Sunreef Charters, was the catalyst behind Sunreef’s decision to open a sales office in Dubai.
The Polish catamaran maker has been looking to expand its global sales coverage in addition to its offices in Fort Lauderdale and Shanghai. Damrak II garnered strong interest from local buyers when she visited the Emirates Palace Marina in Abu Dhabi, the Pearl Qatar Marina in Doha and Dubai International Club Marina. She also visited Oman and Bahrain while she was in the region. The level of interest was such that Sunreef decided its new sales office should be in Dubai.
Sunreef is a keen participant at most of the Middle East boat shows. The company revealed details of their latest superyacht project, the 90 Sunreef Power and the 210 Power Trimaran at the recent 1st Qatar International Boat Show and have already confirmed their presence at the 2014 Dubai International Boat Show to be held in March next year.
