Lee Marine, Phuket’s leading yacht broker, will be delivering several new, luxury, Ferretti Group boats to customers in December and January. These includeL a Custom Line 112’ NEXT, a Ferretti 881 RPH, and two new, superfast Pershing 82’ and 64’ models.
It is the largest influx of such luxury yachts, including the stunning Custom Line 112’ NEXT, ever brought to Phuket at one time. All of the yachts will be based in Phuket and their owners will use them for cruising around the Andaman Sea and elsewhere in Southeast Asia.
Lee Marine Managing Director, Josh Lee commented: “We are delighted to announce the arrival of these new models and excited for our owners. Phuket continues to see significant growth in the marine industry. This will create many more local jobs. Look out for these yachts sailing around Singapore and the Andaman Sea during the upcoming season.”
All of these boats are from the Ferretti Group, which builds Ferretti Yachts, the Ferretti Custom Line, Pershing, Itama, Riva, Bertram, Mochi Craft and CRN in a number of shipyards around Italy.
The Custom Line 112’ NEXT coming to Phuket is the largest vessel in Ferretti’s fleet, and will be one of the largest yachts domiciled on Phuket. It is made of composite materials, rather than aluminum, and is capable of planing at up to 32 knots powered by twin 735-horsepower MTU/DDC engines. The triple deck layout includes a master suite, a VIP and two guest staterooms as well as four crew cabins. The yacht has a distinctive raised pilothouse to separate the owner and his guests from the operational side of the boat. She underwent sea trials recently in Croatia, Montenegro and along the Italian coast.
A Jacuzzi hot tub on the fly bridge, a dazzling array of electronic gadgets to open and shut everything on board and super luxurious furnishings all come as standard. The yacht coming to Phuket has been extensively modified to meet her owner’s specific tastes.
The Ferretti 881 RPH super yacht provides luxuriously comfortable accommodation for up to six guests in three cabins, each with an en-suite. Powered by twin 2.211-horsepower MTU engines it can reach 31.5 knots. A large garage aft with a hydraulic hatch allows for storage of a jet ski.
Pershings are generally known as the ‘Ferraris of the Seas’, and for good reason. The Pershing 82’ can hit 46 knots and the Pershing 64’ about 48 knots. Their wakes throw up that distinctive ‘rooster tail’ effects, which are often visible around Phuket from other Pershings based on the island. The Pershing 82’ is powered by twin MTU 16 V M93 engines and the Pershing 64’ by twin 2/1 550-horsepower, MAN V12 diesel inboard engines. Both come with the luxurious Pershing white and gray interior and furnishings from some of Italy’s top design houses. The standard specifications can easily be altered to meet an owner’s individual requirements.
Added Lee: “We expect these yachts to become common sights around Phuket and elsewhere in the region. Their arrival here testifies to the popularity of this region for cruising on some of the world’s best luxury yachts. Lee Marine is proud to be the Ferretti Group’s agent and to have been responsible for bringing such beautiful yachts to this part of the world.
