Honda returns to London Boat Show

It has been announced by the UK’s National Boat Shows (NBS) that Honda will return to the London Boat Show 2014 after a four-year absence. The show will run from January 4 to 12 at London’s ExCel exhibition centre with some 90,000 visitors expected to attend.
Honda will be displaying eight new models, including the AMT 185, 150 and 230 on its own boardwalk with a dedicated product and equipment stand.
Murray Ellis, NBS’ Managing Director, welcomed the company back, saying: “We are very pleased on see Honda returning to the 2014 event. This highlights their confidence in this show as a key sales platform to reach a keen and enthusiastic audience. The commitment from this sector of this industry is very encouraging and we aim to improve on the success of the 2013 show.
Meanwhile, Steve Morris, Head of Power Equipment at Honda (UK) explained the company’s return thus: “With the steadily recovering economy, customer interest has increased considerably and we thus thought it was the right time to participate again. It is a great platform to exhibit our broad range of RIBs and the fishing and leisure vessels that make up our important BoatBuilder alliance programme. We will also be displaying a wide range of our outboard engines, including the recently launched BF80 and BF100.
Other brands that have recently confirmed their attendance at the show include: DB Marine, Clarke & Carter, North Sails, Jeanneau, The Boat Crew and Ultrasonic Works.
