UK’s Princess Yachts International recently launched its third Princess 40M hull at its South Yard site in Plymouth. It will now enter its final completion schedule.
The first boat in this series, Imperial Princess, was launched in 2012 and was the largest composite motoryacht to be built in UK at that time. She took home the prize for the best three-deck semi-displacement or planning motoryacht at the 2013 World Superyacht Awards.
Princess took this event to announce that they will be adding a 35-metre version to their M Class range of cruising yachts next year. This new yacht will be a semi-custom motoryacht capable of cruising both at high and low speeds, an impressive long range and outstanding efficiency. It will have expansive deck areas and comfortable and spacious accommodation for the owner, his guests and a crew of six.
The M Class range of technically advanced and highly customisable yachts, which now includes the Princess 32M, the new 35M and the award-winning 40M, has stamped the Princess marque firmly on the 100-foot-plus market, demonstrating the company’s ability to design and build some of the most technically advanced superyachts and cementing its reputation as one of the world’s most experienced shipyards.
