For the first time, Germany’s Bavaria will exhibit at China Rendez-vous – the country’s most luxurious show for yachts and superyachts – and show its largest yacht, the Cruiser 56, at the March 27-30 event in Sanya on Hainan Island.
"The Chinese market will be certainly in the next few years be one of the most important worldwide for yachts,” says Constantin von Bülow, CEO of Bavaria yacht building. “Even if the numbers of sales compared to others is relatively small, in order to increase this you have to be well positioned in China beforehand.
“With Bavaria, we have in recent years greatly intensified our commitment to China and can now record a rising graph of sales of our own yachts in to China. We have installed a stable and efficient dealer network in China and have found two very good partners. Now we are reaping the first fruits of our efforts and are ready for the anticipated growth of the water sports market in China.”
Bavaria is represented in China through dealers Dalian Lanhai Yachts Co. and Sealord China Co., which are authorised to sell both Bavaria motor boats and sailing yachts. In the market of China, Bavaria is delivering almost as many motor as sail boats.
The boat exhibited in Hainan will be the Cruiser 56 (pictured), which can be built in six different layout options – from a comfortable three-cabin version up to a five-cabin version, plus optional skipper cabin.
The elegant lines, luxury and innovative design of the Cruiser 56 should prove to be popular with Chinese customers.
