The Carver C34 has scooped Japan’s Boat of the Year Award at the Japan International Boat Show held in Yokohama. The Carver was selected for its technical innovation and the consistently high standard of build quality.

“Taking home Japan's Boat of the Year Award was confirmation that Carver's new line of command bridge style yachts reflects our determination to be the most innovative yacht builder in the industry,” said Carver’s marketing director, Dick Nocenti. “The quality, comfort, privacy and value provided by the C34 are features appreciated by customers in Japan and throughout the world.”

The C34 was one of three new models released by Carver throughout 2013, and features a low profile ‘command bridge’ that provides a large, multifunctional deck space and allows excellent 360-degree vision while navigating. Below decks is an open-plan entertainment/living area and two private staterooms.

Carver has been engineering and manufacturing yachts at the company's yacht yard in Pulaski, Wisconsin for 60 years.
