The fifth hull of the Ferretti Custom Line 124–foot was recently launched at CRN’s shipyard in Ancona, in the presence of the Group’s top management, as well as the engineers, architects and designers and shipyard workers that have been involved in building the vessel. Once the finishing touches have been added to the onboard décor, and all necessary technical checks and tests are completed, the yacht will be ready for delivery. She is expected to be cruising the Mediterranean by springtime.

Custom Line 124 number five sports the marque’s traditional white hull and streamlined, slender profile – but has been modified with the addition of a hard top sheltering the sundeck. This was specifically requested by the owner and installed for the very first time on this model. Other refinements include the outfitting of a large bar area on the main deck’s port side close to the cockpit, and replacing the living/dining area with a spacious lounge featuring two custom-made L-shaped sofas and coffee tables.

“This is another very important day for Ferretti and particularly for this model, which is the cutting edge of the Custom Line planing line and of the entire brand”, explained Mario Chessa, the Group's EMEA Regional Director. “We are proud to be delivering a new hull of our flagship in Europe, a historical market where Ferretti is recognized as the synonym of excellence in yachting”.

The vessel is fitted with two MTU 3,510–horsepower engines giving her a cruising speed of 23–knots, and a maximum of up to 27.5 if needed.
