Grand Pavois, the international in-water boat show will be held from September 17-22 at the Port des Minimes in La Rochelle, France.
There are expected to be 700 exhibitors on the 100,000sqm of exhibition space. 250 boats will be on show in-water, out of the 650 on display in the show.
Grand Pavois will be hosting an Asian country for the first time. China, in particular the city of Dalian, which is in the Liaoning province on the Korean border of north-eastern China, will be guests of honour at the show.
It’s a chance for visitors to Grand Pavois to discover this province and city. Representatives will be available to impart their expertise, answer visitors’ questions about watersports, tourism, the craft industry and local food. There will be six days to explore the atmosphere of a country with ambitious plans for watersports, and one that is enjoying continued growth.
Dalian will host the 7th Dalian International Boat Show from June 19-26, 2015. French companies will be exhibiting, thanks to the platform of economic cooperation arranged by the Département of Charente-Maritime, the idea being to allow a first approach to the north Chinese market, and to introduce Charentaise (from the Charente-Maritime region) companies to the area.
