Burgess Unveils Superyacht Turquoise
Published: Wednesday, 09 July 2014
Superyacht Turquoise was recently unveiled as an addition to the Burgess charter fleet for summer 2014. She had an extensive refit including a re-designed interior and sun deck by award-winning H2 Yacht Design. Turquoise is already proving to be a favoured choice with experienced charterers.
The main reception has a relaxing colour palette of silver, cream, white, grey and subtle turquoise tones, enhanced by accents of Ebony Macassar wood.
Open plan with a dining room for up to 14 guests and housing a full-size cocktail bar, Turquoise’s main saloon leads to a new outdoor cinema on the aft deck where modular furniture can be co-ordinated into a seating plan for any occasion. The more informal sky lounge brings in plenty of natural light and houses a grand piano and a large plasma screen with comfortable seating.
There are six new guest cabins resulting in elegant accommodations for 12. The master suite has been reconfigured to maximise space and features shoji screens, leather wall panels and a white marble bathroom complete with tub and rain shower.
The remodelled sun deck now provides shaded al fresco dining, a large plasma screen, a full-size bar and a barbecue to complement the Jacuzzi and cushioned sun pad area.
Turquoise is equipped with the latest audio-visual systems and carries a wide inventory of water toys, along with a protected sea pool with trampoline and waterslide.
British captain Ben Craig-Cameron has 20 years of professional yachting experience in the Mediterranean and the Caribbean, and leads an enthusiastic crew of 12 with excellent credentials.
Turquoise will be available for charter over winter 2014-2015 in the Caribbean.
