Simpson Marine announces the delivery of Asia’s first Magellano 53. The yacht is currently at the company’s shipyard in Aberdeen and will soon be delivered to her new owner in Shenzhen.
Azimut has created a seaworthy yacht capable of planing speeds while also delivering the characteristics of a long-range cruiser using a low speed displacement mode that allows for a gentle ride while delivering a much longer range. This combination of lift and displacement is intended to provide maximum flexibility in how the boat is used.
The flybridge is long and wide with a seating area that comfortably fits eight and also has a shower.
The dining area features a large, fixed sofa and a fabric and leather bench placed behind the wheelhouse. The galley is at the aft end of the saloon and is well suited to entertaining large groups.
Accommodations include two large and bright staterooms for the owner and guests. The office space below has a large in hull window that creates a bright working environment. The crew quarters are hidden in the large transom.
A hydraulically operated grand swim step the size of a patio lowers into the water to create easy access for swimmers and water toys.
