Built to be the chase-boat for an Egyptian businessman’s superyacht, Crazy Too is the melding of performance, technology and design, with the ability to reach over 57 knots. She will make her debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival Sept 9-14.
Powered by twin Caterpillar C32 Acert engines with 1724hp each, the new 58 HT does stand out with its black hull and hardtop, entirely wrapped in a carbon-look film.
The interior was designed by Cristiano Gatto Design to suit the owner’s taste. He requested a total black look. The design team came up with chromatic combinations using high quality materials. Delicate shades of beige used for textiles and leathers are combined with the black hull and deck. Below deck, natural linen and cotton materials were chosen, along with high technology synthetics such as decorative material on doors and cupboards, with Majilite covering the owner’s cabin walls located in the V-berth. This material uses Nitek, which reproduces the structure of natural leather giving a wrinkle effect in the corners. The furniture, with rounded corners, was created with a bright black mirror finish, while the bathroom sinks are made of black glass.
The cockpit has six Revel speakers driven by an audio distribution system that delivers high-output audiophile sound quality with 400W per channel. Guests have a full audio-visual experience in any space they find themselves.
The boat is also equipped with an M7 satellite dome allowing guests to watch prime television from satellites worldwide.
The NaviSailor 4000 MFD software gives professional route planning and tracking features typically found on commercial vessels. An Automatic Identification System (AIS) transponder allows traffic to be safely negotiated.
