Dehler 46 To Premiere At Cannes Yachting Festival
Published: Friday, 15 August 2014
The Dehler 46 is finished and ready to make her debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival Sept 9-14.
Dehler is strengthening its reputation as a versatile performance cruiser with characteristics attractive to cruisers and racing sailors.
A lot of thought has been put into making sailing and living on board a pleasant experience. This includes the wet room concept seen in the Dehler 38 with the UniDoor® in the owner’s cabin, combined with generous space and privacy. If the UniDoor® is open, the access to the owners cabin is free and the shower and WC area are closed. The floor runs through seamlessly and is integrated into the cabin. Washbasin and WC/shower can be used independently of each other offering owners more privacy.
The Dehler 46 standard model is a fast cruiser and is also perfect for a small crew and families. Lots of options for layout mean that the boat can be fashioned as a fast luxury cruiser or a performance-oriented sporty regatta boat.
The Dehler 46 has been announced as one of the nominees in the Performance Cruiser category in the European Yacht of the Year (EYOTY) awards.
“After the victory of the 38 model in the performance cruiser category this year, the nomination of the Dehler 46 was in the cards,” says Jochen Rieker, editor-in-chief of the German sailing magazine YACHT and chairman of the EYOTY jury.
