Horizon Launches RP110 Superyacht Hull Three - Paradise

Taiwan’s Horizon Yachts announces the launch of Paradise, hull three of the RP110 raised pilothouse superyacht model. The yacht is currently undergoing sea trials and is scheduled to be delivered to her Australian owner at the end of November.
“The new Horizon RP110 raised pilothouse superyacht model has enjoyed global success since being launched last year,” says Horizon CEO John Lu. “Hull one, Andrea VI was delivered to her second time Horizon owners in November 2013, and hull two delivered to her owner in Asia. Hull three, Paradise is definitely another notable launch for Horizon, as she is the largest yacht we have sold in Australia.”
The 116-foot Paradise is tailored to suit her owner, his family and their cruising lifestyle. Her sleek exterior is the work of J.C. Espinosa. Horizon and Donald Blount collaborated on her high-performance double chine hull design, which provides shallow draft along with stability at high speeds and low resistance at slower speeds.
Paradise features a five-stateroom layout with an on-deck master suite and four guest staterooms below deck. Crew quarters are completely aft on the lower deck.
As Australia’s shallower waters can be a concern for larger yachts, Horizon installed the Muir windlass system, which is specifically designed to provide a stable grip and higher-quality anchoring within Australia. Horizon also ensured that the Hi/Lo swim platform on Paradise is lightweight and can extend out to 12 feet 2 inches, with a load capacity of 3300 pounds for a custom tender, as requested by her owner.
The stern garage is designed as a beach club and features a hydraulic garage door that opens to views of the sea. The stern garage can also be accessed independently via a watertight door within the hydraulic garage door. For entertaining on the flybridge, the yacht can accommodate up to 20 guests at the dinette table, and a second helm for the captain is outfitted forward on starboard side.
Horizon Yachts is currently negotiating a contract to build RP110 superyacht hull four. “Our clients around the world have been and continue to be impressed with the RP110, not only for her design and performance but also because she offers immense layout flexibility,” says Lu. “We look forward to seeing her success in the superyacht arena continue.”
