McConaghy has been busy in the last quarter of 2014. The company closed the year with its 24th order for the quarter, including an order for 150 optimists.
Vessels currently under contract or in build include two Ker 46s, a Mills 41, a Ker 40+, five Dunning designed MC38s, three Ker 33 Racer / Cruisers, four Elliot 7s headed for Royal Sydney Yacht Squadron and 150 Mach 2 Moths, bringing the total of Moths built by McConaghy boats to 600.
The majority of the yachts are for delivery in the first half of 2015 and will be built at McConaghy’s recently expanded China facility, which is now supported by the New Zealand design and engineering team.
McConaghy’s build capacity has increased significantly this year with the introduction of additional equipment, including three Kuka Robots.
