Neel 45 Trimarans Make A Splash With Australian Cruisers

The Neel 45 trimaran continues to be a popular choice for Australian boat buyers. Multihull Solutions has recently sold another Neel 45 to an adventurous client who plans on cruising the Mediterranean for two seasons, then heading to the Caribbean for a couple of years before returning to Australia.
The 44-foot trimaran has set a high standard with its smooth performance, live-aboard comfort and smart use of space and light. The boat features a novel layout that distinguishes it from traditional trimarans – the living area, which accommodates the galley, saloon and cockpit, connects its two wings. The reversed bows reduce pitching and maximise the waterline.
The two lateral fins provide excellent stability and the vessel can explore shallow waters and take refuge in shallow bays in inclement weather conditions. Winches and stoppers for manoeuvring the sails are also fitted inside so the crew is completely protected in strong winds and when sailing at night.
The Neel 45 is available in two versions. The owner’s version is designed as a live-aboard cruising trimaran that comprises an owner’s suite with private bathroom, plus two double bedrooms, additional bathroom and extensive storage capacity. The Charter Version can accommodate 12 guests.
Neel trimarans has also successfully launched its Custom-Line service, enabling the client to radically tailor the interior to suit his individual needs. Two fully customised Neel 45 trimarans have recently been completed. A client from Japan client received an entirely customised galley according to his specific requirements, and a German couple requested significant modifications to the standard layout to result in their boat featuring one large owner suite and a designer bathroom.
One of these customised Neel 45s will be premiered at the 2015 La Grande Motte Boat Show in France taking place Apr 15-19.
