Ara Marina has been presented with International Gold Anchor Scheme accreditation, at the Korean International Boat Show.
Awarded by the Marina Industries Association, the scheme ensures marinas have in place key customer service plans and procedures and have committed to the Gold Anchor Customer Service Code of Ethics.
Ratings are provided at the levels of 5, 4 ½, 4, 3 ½, and 3, with 5 being the highest.
The marina is now the first marina in Korea to achieve Gold Anchor status, as well as being the first and only Korean marina to have obtained International Clean Marina Program accreditation.
“By taking the lead in gaining internationally recognized accreditations, Ara Marina is setting the standard for the Korean industry to follow,” says Andrew Chapman, Marina Industries Association President. “The Gold Anchor accreditation process has assisted Ara Marina to further raise its level of service and facilities. This not only assists the existing and future clients of Ara Marina but it also indirectly assists with the development of the marina industry in Korea.”
