French boat manufacturer Beneteau will introduce two new models to the Flyer Range in 2016.
The 8.5-metre Flyer 8.8 SUNdeck and Flyer 8.8 SPACEdeck mark the culmination of a complete renewal of the Beneteau outboard range.
With its sky-view deck hatch and ventilation ports, in its nighttime configuration, the fore cabin sleeps two comfortably, converting to a vast saloon in the daytime where many people can gather around the table.
The latest generation of AirStep hulls allow the engines to go up to 500 hp. Piloting remains an enormous pleasure on this type of craft, both models of the Flyer 8.8 combining sensations, comfort and safety to perfection.
The SUNdeck version will be on show at the upcoming Cannes Yachting Festival, September 8-13.
At the end of summer, the Barracuda 8 will be welcomed to the Barracuda range.
As the first model with an AirStep 2 technology hull, the Barracuda 8 offers a single or twin engine of up to 300hp.
Fitted with a real fishing station to stern, including a worktable, rod holders and drink holders, the cockpit of this new sport-fishing vessel features a well-designed mobile multifunctional bench seat.
Designed with enhanced comfort in mind, the pilothouse layout provides a real saloon area around a table on a sliding support. The driving station has two bolster seats. The bow resting cabin, stowage space and separate toilets will convince the most demanding guests.
Two doors, three doors or semi-flyboat: a choice between three pilothouse configurations for the Barracuda 8 makes her the most developed of her type on the market.
The Barracuda 8 will be on show at the Grand-Pavois in La Rochelle, France, September 16-21.
Gran Turismo 40
The new 12.5m Gran Turismo 40 offers the protection of a hardtop boat and the sensations of an open top craft, with a top that can be pushed back.
The conversion of the cockpit seating into immense sun-loungers increases the boat’s relaxation space, adding to the boat’s already generous sunbaths with adjustable backrests up on the fore deck.
With the latest generation Air Step planing hull, this new Sport Cruiser gives you driving sensations and a level of comfort whereby you can sail safely and comfortably at speeds of up to 35 knots. The Volvo Z Drive engine makes this new motorboat particularly manoeuvrable.
The layout of the lower deck provides a feeling of space that has never been seen before on a boat of this size. Facing the spacious convertible saloon with large hull windows, a proper fully fitted kitchen galley complements the deck kitchen.
The Gran Turismo 40 will be showcased at Cannes Yachting Festival, Southampton Boat Show (Sept 11-20) and at the Grand-Pavois.
