Gold Coast boat builder, Elandra Yachts will present two Elandra 53 models at the Sydney International Boat Show, July 30-August 3.
“The Elandra 53 is a game-changing boat,” says Elandra Yachts Co-founder and Director Luke Durman. “This is a true long-range cruising motor yacht which will equally appeal to the owner who wants to stay aboard for a weekend or a week with friends and cruise the waterways of Sydney Harbour, Pittwater and way beyond”.
Since its launch in August 2014, response has been extremely positive, resulting in the sale of three boats.
“We designed and built the Elandra 53 to superyacht quality. The result is superior performance, reliability and extended durability, which people have responded to,” says Durman. “We are delighted by the market acceptance of Elandra. It’s a great endorsement. We are now well underway with construction on hull number three and are confident of orders from Sydney.”
The 16.1-metre yacht is configured with a three-cabin, two bathroom accommodation plan including a full beam master suite amidships. Adjacent to the full beam master is a lavish ensuite.
The CZone system controls the entire boat’s electrical systems, allowing owners to select operating modes including cruising, dock attended or dock unattended.
Above the large hydraulic-lift swim platform, the garage is designed for a 2.8m Williams Jet Tender with activation by a sophisticated launch and retrieve system.
Elandra Yachts will also reveal plans for the next model in the range, the Elandra 49, to be launched at the Sydney Boat Show in 2016.
“We have already sold a version of the 49 – in actual fact a 51 because of the extended hydraulic swim platform,” says Durman. “Again, we believe the 49 will fill a niche in the sedan style cruising market.”
