Monte Carlo Yachts Unveils MCY 105 At Venice VIP Event
Published: Tuesday, 28 July 2015
Monte Carlo Yachts celebrated five years of growth with the unveiling of the MCY 105 at a private viewing event at the Arsenale in Venice, Italy.
The MCY 105 was the star of a water parade that saw the other models in the MCY collection come together to introduce the newest addition.
Projections on a water screen, light shows and laser displays provided the special effects in the magical setting of Arsenale.
At 32-metres, the MCY 105 is the largest yacht of the Monte Carlo Yacht fleet. Its construction is the natural outcome of the company’s significant investments at its production site in Monfalcone, Italy.
The design of the new MCY 105 has been entrusted once again to Carlo Nuvolari and Dan Lenard, who developed the vessel with exclusive features that epitomises Montel Carlo Yachts’ signature style.
“We began this journey with a mission to redefine the concept of luxury in yachting, and a promise of delivering the very best that Italian genius is able to.” says Monte Carlo Yachts President Carla Demaria. “Five years later we’re back in the great city of Venice where it all started, and we’re proud to say we have met those promises, and gone beyond them. But this is just one milestone, the first, of a new era for Monte Carlo Yachts.”
Following the Venice preview, the MCY 105 will be on show at the Cannes Yachting Festival (Sept 8-13), the Monaco Yacht Show (Sept 23-26), and the Genoa International Boat Show (Sept 30-Oct 5).
The first vessel of MCY 105 already has a buyer, thanks to the official dealer of MCY in Hong Kong and Macao – Asia Yachting. She will arrive in Hong Kong at the end of 2015.
