Former Formula One Monaco Grand Prix winner Jarno Trulli is set to appear at the fifth China (Macau) International Yacht Import and Export Fair (Nov 5-8), held at the Macau Fisherman’s Wharf. The F1 superstar will be exhibiting his own selection of wine from Podere Castorani Winery.
Before retiring from the sport in 2000, the Italian racer bought a vineyard in his hometown of Pescara, Italy. Now 15 years later, the winery sells over one million bottles annually.
As the event grows into a high-profile and high-level affair, Trulli’s Podere Castorani Winery will fit right in.
After four years of cultivation, the Macau Yacht Show has become an influential event throughout the region.
This year a total of more than 50 yacht brands from all over the world are expected to participate. The show layout will scale nearly 30,000 square meters.
The organising committee of the show will also hold a High-level International Yacht Industry Forum. Leaders of the industry and yacht industry veterans are invited to attend the forum that expects to promote development and interconnection of the international yacht industry.
Guests will also be welcomed with fashion shows, an underwater photography and cinematography exposition and a three-day sailing competition for teenagers.
