The organisation committee of the fifth China (Macau) International Yacht Import & Export Fair held a press release in Rocks Hotel at Fisherman’s Wharf in Macau to introduce general information about the upcoming yacht fair.
The Macau Yacht Fair will be held at Fisherman’s Wharf in Macau, November 5-8.
After four years of cultivation, the Macau event has become a high-class professional yacht exposition. More than 50 yacht brands will take part in this year's fair, whose scale is expected to reach 30,000 square meters, exceeding all of the previous five sessions.
This year, for the first time ever, the event will also hold a high-level conference forum to discuss the development of the (Macau) yacht industry, featuring the theme of "Silk Road Economic Zone & Maritime Silk Road".
Starting from the perspective of Macau's yacht industry, the forum will explore the development of the yacht industries at home and abroad, the implementation of "Guangdong-HongKong-Macau Free Yacht Tour", the promotion of sea recreational sports in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macau, and a number of other topics. It will also provide policies and platforms for dialogue with enterprises.
The event will hold a true-life exhibition to showcase photos and videos of the underwater world to the public. Nearly 100 pieces of excellent photography works are expected to be displayed to let visitors have close-range experiences of the wonderful sea world.
Macau's first sailing race for teenagers will be held during the fair. The sailing event will be divided into three levels. The participants from Hong Kong, Macau and mainland will take part in two-day round matches, with age ranging from 8 to 15.
