Monaco Yacht Show Officially Begins

The Monaco Yacht Show has officially begun, celebrating the events 25th anniversary with a new show layout.
The new configuration will welcome mega yachts up to 120m along the quay Rainier III. By repositioning the Darse Nord tent on Quai Antoine ler, there will be uninterrupted passage along the Port Hercules waterfront.
The four-day affair will deliver its largest ever event unveiling a record-breaking showcase of 121 spectacular superyachts afloat.
The expected average size of these yachts exceed 47 metres. Five hundred exhibiting companies will display their most innovative, tailor-made products and services lying at the pinnacle of luxury yachting.
Italian shipyard Sanlorenzo Yachts will be introducing two impressive yachts: 42.2-metre 460EXP, the first from the Explorer Range and the 46Steel range Scorpion. The 460EXP offers a heated swimming pool and spacious layout, while the Scorpion has a range of about 3,500 nautical miles, perfect for extended cruising.
CRN shipyard, part of Ferretti Group, will present the 55-metre Atlante, 61-metre Saramour and 73-metre Yalla at the event. Yalla is the first CRN yacht built on a 13-metre wide naval platform, while Saramour offers an owner’s deck, a first for a CRN yacht of this size. Atlante boasts elements of military craft thanks to the design collaboration of Studio Nuvolari Lenard and the CRN Engineering Department.
Celebrating its 40th anniversary, Burgess Yachts will once again have a commanding presence at MYS. A diverse range of yachts will be displayed including the largest yacht at the show the 85.1m Solandge – delivered by Lürssen in 2013. As one of the most exciting additions to the sales market this year, the megayacht offers a spacious six decks and space for up to 16 guests. Also being displayed are the 77m Silver Fast, 72.1m Stella Maris, 55.4m Turquoise, 55m Cakewalk and the 57.5m Twizzle.
Making an appearance alongside an already impressive fleet is the Mangusta 132, an array of watersports tenders by MasterCraft Boats UK, Monte Carlo’s MCY 105, Rossinavi’s 39m displacement yacht Taransay and an impressive 69m Tankoa S693 M/Y Suerte.
