Organisers rallied yacht owners and the boating community to host the elderly group aboard their yachts.

CEO of Keppel Land Ang Wee Gee flagged off the charity convoy comprising 21 vessels. The convoy then embarked on a heritage journey through Cruise Bay, Tanjong Berlayar and Labrador Park.

As a first-time experience for the elderly, the group was not only able to enjoy the cruise, but also appreciate how the Singapore skyline and coastline have grown and changed.

Many yacht owners also provided hospitality onboard their yachts with gifts and refreshments.

More than 70 Keppel Volunteers were at hand to assist the seniors and share interesting facts about landmarks visited during the cruise. The volunteers also entertained the group with a variety of kampung games and a sing-a-long session.
