“We are pleased to announce these recruitment plans which give a clear signal of the positive times ahead at Sunseeker,” says Sunseeker CEO Phil Popham. “We have a clear and robust business plan to invest in long term growth and sustainable success, backed by our majority shareholder Wanda Group whose stable ownership and strong financial backing enables us to plan and invest for the future.”

The new roles will be based at its manufacturing operations in Dorset, covering construction trades including carpentry, plumbing and electrical, as well as engineering trades including mechanical engineering, and composites.

“Building our highly skilled workforce is a key part of this planned investment, and with the introduction of a number of new boat lines in 2016 we are able to recruit over 100 new skilled staff to support future growth,” continued Popham.

Sunseeker is set to launch the anticipated new 131 Yacht at the London Boat Show (Jan 8-17). At 40-metres, the 131 will be the largest model to debut at the London show, and will appear alongside a stunning collection of other Sunseeker models ranging from 50 feet upwards.
