The series began with the Standard Insurance 7th Subic Bay to Boracay Race (SBBR) February 26-29 back-to-back with the Boracay Cup Regatta (BCR) March 1-4 and finishing off with the 9th Commodores’ Cup Regatta (CCR), March 29-April 2.
Last year’s events set the tone of anticipation for this year’s series, with 15 entries from Hong Kong, Singapore, China, Malaysia, Australia and Great Britain.
“Over the years, we work tirelessly with our sailing partners toward opening more doors for occasions in spreading the spark of sailing and enlivening big boat racing pursuits in the Philippines,” says Subic Sailing Co-Chairman and Lighthouse Marina Resort President Jun Avecilla.
