Singapore Yacht Show Wraps Up Impressive Event

The sixth edition of the Singapore Yacht Show (Apr 7-10) has concluded, after welcoming some of the most prestigious vessels to the ONE°15 Marina Club in Sentosa Cove.

Southeast Asia’s premier yachting event hosted thousands of yacht enthusiasts and potential buyers to view over 100 boats, yachts and superyachts during the four-day show.
Exhibitors included local players Northrop & Johnson Asia, SG Boating, Supratechnic and Grand Banks, as well as international leaders Amels, Azimut, Benetti, Ferretti Group, Gulf Craft, Sunseeker, Sanlorenzo and Sunreef.

Luxury yacht company Fraser Yachts boasted an impressive on-water fleet with 50-metre M/Y Sensation joining Royal Denship’s 43m M/Y Triple 8 and the 34m Moonen-built yacht M/Y Azul A.
British luxury yacht manufacturer Princess Yachts returned to the show unveiling the restored Project 31 cruiser – Project 31@50 and the all-new Princess 75, which made its Asia-Pacific premiere. The two were showcased alongside a line-up of sports, sports bridge and motor yachts.
Benetti returned to the Lion City with one of its most revered yachts of the last few years, Lady Candy, a majestic 56m yacht based in Hong Kong, also the largest yacht displayed at the show. The superyacht builder also revealed the concept of its collaboration with designer Henrik Fisker. The Benetti Fisker 50 superyacht is now ready to be built in Livorno, Italy.

Italian brand Azimut Yachts, owned by the Azimut | Benetti Group, reported strong sales with 10 Azimut 43 Atlantis orders placed. The impressive sales confirm the yachts success as one of the top models in the Azimut collection. The 43 Atlantis was further recognised during the Asia Boating Awards when presented with the ‘Best Production Motor Yacht (Up to 15m)’ award.

Hong Seh’s Ferretti Group showcased its main brand Ferretti Yachts and brands Riva and Pershing, along with Cranchi, which had an Asian premier of the Eco-Trawler 43 Long Distance, as well as new brand acquisition Boston Whaler.
Sales and brokerage company Simpson Marine presented a wide range of vessels from its prestigious portfolio this year including brands from Beneteau Group with Beneteau Sail, Beneteau Power, Lagoon Sail and Power, CNB, Monte Carlo and Monte Carlo Yachts. Yachts from Italian superyacht brand Sanlorenzo and American sport fishing brank Viking were also displayed. The eight-yacht line-up included the Asian premiere of the Lagoon 450 SporTop, as well as the Asian premiere of the Sanlorenzo 104.

Australia-based yacht builder Riviera showcased models across its collection, including the Riviera Flybridge, Sport Yacht, SUV and new Sports Motor Yacht designs, as well as the Belize Motor Yacht line.
Sunreef Yachts continued to promote its customised multihulls at the event. The shipyard used this year's show to premiere a brand new range of luxury catamarans – The Sunreef Supreme, including the launch of the Sunreef Supreme 68 Eagle Wings.
Superyacht toys and accessories delighted buyers and gadget enthusiasts alike. This year’s show saw new exhibits and returning favourites on display from Funair, Seabob, Quadrofoil, and U-Boat Worx, as well as SYS’ first-ever on-water demonstration platform.
The Singapore show, as always, provided a first-class platform for regional guests to meet yachting professionals, boat owners, supercar aficionados and a select group of invited participants keen to explore the luxury yachting scene.
This year’s events included the highly anticipated Gala Dinner, a series of supercar parades, fashion shows and live cooking demonstrations by MasterChef Asia Judge Audra Morris.
The prestigious Asia Boating Awards was also held during this year’s show. Held at ONE°15 Marina Club, the event honoured the best in Asian and international yachting, featuring a select group of HNWIs, VIPs and key personalities of the yachting industry.
