Benetti Leads the Superyacht Sector in Asia

The Italian yacht brand has continued to engage increased commitment in the Asia-Pacific region.
Benetti, part of the Azimut|Benetti Group, is consolidating its Asian expansion through the appointment of Nizar Tagi as General Manager of Benetti Asia this year.
Under Tagi’s leadership, together with Natalie Ye as Marketing Manager, Alberto Giannerini as Service Manager, Federico Caslini as DEDICATO Coordinator, the team is dedicated to driving sales growth and setting new standards for aftersales service in Asia. The brand currently has a fleet of 14 yachts based in the Asia Pacific region with eight yachts in Hong Kong ranging from 93ft to 65m.
At the end of April, Benetti starred in two major yacht shows in Asia with its flagship yachts. Benetti participated in The Hong Kong Gold Coast Boat Show with its magnificent Classic Supreme 132' motor yacht Mingfa, which was the largest yacht at the show. It was the first time that Benetti had exhibited in Hong Kong’s boat show to demonstrate the brand’s commitment in Greater China.
The brand invited the audience to embark on a voyage by launching the brand book - Benetti Inspirations. With the fast emergence of luxury boating in Asia, these two shows covered both Greater China and Southeast Asia to reinforce the brand’s leadership in the region.
Benetti also won the Best Custom Built Yacht award at the Asia Boating Awards 2016 organised by Blu Inc., publisher of the Asia-Pacific Boating and China Boating magazines in April. The award is dedicated to Benetti’s 63-metre motor yacht FB265 II, which is characterised by her elegant lines and distinctive vertical axe bow. It is also the second plumb-bow yacht designed by Benetti’s naval architects.
Benetti is currently working with over 1,000 brokers worldwide and 200 brokers in Asia. Benetti organised an Italy themed B-Night gathering with 50 broker partners in the rooftop terrace with electric views of Hong Kong’s cityscape at Armani/Privé on April 29. The guests listened to Benetti’s new ideas and information while enjoying the authentic Italian gourmet food.
The brand has also organised two Chinese client events since the beginning of 2016. Demonstrating the brand’s sport DNA, Benetti sponsored the 2016 Snow Polo World Cup in Tianjin to present this new sport to clients.
Benetti teamed up with Visun Yacht Club and Eastation Gallery to organise the "Aspiration Through Art" dinner to feature artist Rona Hu at the Michelin 3-star Italian restaurant Otto e mezzo.
