The MCY 105 came out on top against other 8 top players in the industry presenting boats between 34 and 77 metres. Winners are selected by an online vote, which is widely promoted in the Yacht and Aviation Industries and offers competing companies the chance to be judged by a wide range of industry professionals with no bias towards a particular company. This year's awards attracted in excess of 7,000 verified votes.
“We’re proud of this award that recognises the elegance and style of Monte Carlo Yachts interiors to match the striking exteriors,” says Monte Carlo Yachts Marketing Manager Federico Peruccio. “What’s interesting and different about the International Yacht and Aviation Awards is that they’re assigned by popular vote, offering a unique challenge and opportunity to participants. We believe this speaks of the capacity of MCY 105’s classic and iconic design to inspire people from different backgrounds and industries.”
MCY 105 is known for its spacious interiors decorated in precious woods and materials such as white alabaster from Volterra, cedarstone marbles, moka cream limestone and handmade Venetian Murano glass mosaics, and only the very best materials, fabrics and accessories available from brands such as Hermès, Armani, Poltrona Frau and Pierre Frey.
“With Monte Carlo Yachts we always strive for maximum space and comfort on board, and nowhere is this more evident than inside the MCY 105,” says Nuvolari & Lenard Designer Dan Lenard. “This award recognises the MCY 105 with attention given to every single detail, and the intimate, sophisticated atmosphere created both by using only the finest materials and collaborating with the world’s greatest names in fashion and design.”
The International Yacht & Aviation Awards focuses on designs that cross boundaries and celebrates the best design in the world of luxury. This award is the MCY 105’s third, and follows the recent Golden A Award and the Most Innovative Award in its category at the Invictus Yachts Trophies in Cannes.
